Customer Reviews
Yes, it worked tirelessly at Burning Man for about 9 days and still works around our hot tub in the Seattle area. I wore this rope light around my body as I bicycled all over the playa. The solar charger fell on the ground and banged on my car a few times and still works perfectly. I laid the whole thing on top of the car during the day in the desert and it lit up for at least 6 hours each night for safety. I cleared snow off the solar panel the other day, but normally snow falls off the angle it is set at. Must have been some wet snow. So far it has survived 19F, and two wind storms, but not sure how much colder it is rated. Glad I bought these last year.
With the solar charger in the sun all day, the lights stayed on all night until the light sensor saw the sun again. The lights are a lovely deep blue that are a perfect accent for any outdoor space.
