I bought 3 of these over a year ago - and they are still working well, even after a Maine winter.

The LEDs give something akin to good moon light - so don't expect 1000 watt flood lighting !
For seeing pathways on dark nights, lighting up steps, and perhaps as deer scarcer they work great. They come on as you approach and off about 1 min later.
They are designed to be hang on walls. The wedge shape is perfect for getting light during the day i.e. charging, and then lighting the area beneath them when a warm body passes by (IR activated).
If need be, the batteries can be replaced (the manufacture says ~2 years)
in short - simple, effective, a little costly (look around for a deal)
Post script
Sadly, one cease to function after the 90 days period - I replaced the rechargeable batteries with better quality ones - and its running again.

Great concept for outdoor lighting but has a design flaw in the mounting bracket. The metal bracket is easily secured to any surface but the light casing has a cheap plastic key that allows you to attach the light to the bracket. What you end up with is a tightly secured mounting bracket with a loosely attached light. If the manufacturer would re-design the mounting system this lighting concept would be a five star super value. The light itself projects a light beam resembling a bright full moon and works very well.
