The Solar Flickering LED Tiki Torch by Adamax is constructed using real bamboo which is far more durable than Tiki Torches made of plastic. The bamboo torch fixtures are great for poolsides, backyards, patios or any outdoor environment. The fixtures give off a tropical affect without the use of oil or an open flame while the fixture still flickers like a real flame! The torch has a frosted lens to help promote the look of a real flame. The tiki torches come with NiCd rechargeable batteries which charge during the day and power the fixture with 6-8 hours of LED light at night. The flickering light has dusk to dawn photo cell operation which means it comes on automatically as dusk an turns off at dawn. The bottom of the each Torch is also cut to enable easy insertion into the ground. No installation or wiring required - just put into the ground and remove the battery sheaths (guarantees you get maximum battery life) and transform your yard into a tropical paradise!

Arrived in a timely manner. Worked right off the bat.........worth the money. I would recommend this product and buy again.

First off, I've NEVER had anything from Amazon take this long to arrive. True enough I knew at time of purchase that shipping would take a long time, but jeez . . . Really? Did they have to go out to the forests of China to chop down just the right bamboo? Anyway, I was a little disappointed upon seeing the shipping box, as it was about 5 ft long . . . yes they came fully constructed. Upon opening the box, I was even more disappointed when I saw they were actually made of real bamboo poles. I was expecting to match the other sets I already had purchased at local stores made of plastic poles. So as I began to use them in the yard, I discovered they do not put out the same amount of light as my other solar tiki torches do. It was close, just not quite the same, even though construction of the light fixture seem to be identical. I still like them and appreciate having them. It might be interesting to note that in a recent wind storm my existing plastic poles actually snapped at the base (may have been just due to their age) and the bamboo poles held up just fine. Overall, I am happy with them and if you can tolerate a little more rustic appearance, they should do quite well for you. I was also lucky that I found them when Amazon first started carrying them, as they were about ten dollars cheaper, which made them a much better deal based on a per light price compared to other manufacturers.
