This polyresin statue of a tropical tiki warrior will look great in your garden, on your porch, next to your path, or near your outdoor tiki bar. The eyes and torch glow from amber LED at night and it charges during the day. The unit comes pre-assembled with a pre-charged AA Ni-Cd battery (includes 1,000 Ah AA Ni-Cd rechargeable battery). It stands 18-1/2 inches tall. This is a great gift and much more fun than a regular garden gnome. A solar lamp is a portable light fixture composed of an LED lamp, a photovoltaic solar panel, and a rechargeable battery. Solar panel on top the lamp recharges the battery with sunlight. Solar lamps recharge during the day. At dusk, they turn on automatically and remain illuminated overnight, depending on how much sunlight they receive during the day. Battery type is Ni-Cd.

These little glowing Tikis are pretty well as-advertised. They're resin, but have a good quality look and feel to them. They glow as described. Our family decided they were amusing, so several people have received them as gifts.
We had a problem though, in that at least two arrived broken. It seems they are especially prone to snapping at the neck, which cannot even easily be seen until you go to remove them from the box -- which seems especially well padded, it must be said. Amazon's return system worked flawlessly, and all the tikis are now fine so far as I have heard.
You know whether or not you want a Tiki Themed Solar Light with glowing eyes and / or torch. Or whether a family member needs something like this to achieve the appropriate patio or poolside flair. Just make sure any you order have arrived with their grinning, glowing little warrior heads firmly attached.

This actually looks very nice, and the solar panel/lights work very well. However, this is not really designed to pass the test of time. A few months in the yard (in realitivly mild San Diego), and the color was fading. After about 3 months, it looked pretty trashy.
