When the light arrived, the glue holding the solar cell and the battery compartment in place had broken loose. It would turn on. However, after I glued the items back in place, it would not turn on. Don't waste your money.

After many weeks of shopping for, purchasing, trying out then returning several solar spot lights it was a pleasant suprpise to find all we hoped for in this item. We designed a house number sign imprinted with our last name and our house number. Since my husband is a Scot, and I am an American, we added flags of those countries to our plaque. Your rock spotlight focuses it soft light on our address plaque from dusk to dawn. Neighbors and visitors are curious about how WE managed to DESIGN such a way of lighting! (We only take credit for finding it, NOT for designing it!)
