The lights are nice with a good charge, very light weight because of the thin wiring and plastic dragonflies (don't know if it's practical or not) Got them a month ago, charged the batteries as advised, the next day placed them on a tree, they gave quite a bright light. The second set was still charging for 2 days not showing much improvement. I opened the solar battery box to check on chargeable battery and noticed that it had no manufacturer's name, ... replaced the batteries on both sets with brand new. The first (after battery replacement) day they were lit for about 6 hours but after then some days there's a little light for about half an hour, and some days I don't see anything. I blame our sunless winters at the moment. If you live on the West Coast up from Oregon these lights are not for you. Better wait until solar batteries take a new leap into the future.

Love them! Strung them along my block fence and they look great. I have alot of different solar lights and these just add to the whole setup i have in my back yard. Lots of fun.
